Terms and Conditions of Sale
All tiles must be inspected by the fixer or client for acceptable quality and shade, and accepted before fixing commences. No claims can be considered after tiles are fixed.
Shade: It is advisable to mix tiles from several boxes when fixing.
Crazing: Crazing is an inherent characteristic of most tile glazes and not a defect. Therefore NO tiles are guaranteed against crazing.
Delivery: A time of delivery is given in good faith, but can be estimated only, and no responsibility will be accepted for delays however caused.
Shortage or Damage: Shortage or damage must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of materials. No claims will be considered after 48 hour period.
Return or Cancellation of Material: Where material have been supplied correctly against a customer's order, return will not generally be accepted, but if accepted by agreement, will be subject to a handling charge of up to 34%.
Title of Goods: Title of goods shall not pass to customer until payment of the full purchase price as stated on the invoice has been paid in full by the said customer. Risk passes to customer on receipt of tiles.
In common with most products mass produced from natural material
there can be shade variations from batch to batch.
Please note therefore that:
- Samples and displays may not be identical to the shade currently in stock.
- It is important to purchase sufficient tiles from one source to complete the
job as it may not be possible to obtain the same shade for subsequent orders.
- It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they have an acceptable
blend and to check tiles before fixing as no claim can be accepted for this reason
once the tiles have been examined and fixed.
